Below are the cover, blurb, and an excerpt! Check it out!

To celebrate this new release the first two books are on sale for $.99! Check it out! It’s a series you won’t want to miss!

Lisa Orchard grew up loving books. She was hooked on mysteries by the fifth grade and even wrote a few of her own. She knew she wanted to be a writer even then.  “The Super Spies and the High School Bomber” is the second book in the “Super Spies” series. Her first book was published in March of 2012 and it has received rave review.
After graduating from Central Michigan University with a Marketing Degree she spent many years in the insurance industry, pining to express her creative side.  The decision to stay home with her children gave her the opportunity to follow her dream and become a writer. She currently resides in Rockford Michigan with her husband, Steve, and two wonderful boys. Currently, she’s working on the third novel that stars the same quirky teens. When she’s not writing she enjoys spending time with her family
running, hiking, and reading.

This book opens in a small town in Michigan where fifteen-year-old Sarah Cole is stuck spending the summer at her Aunt and Uncle’s with her sister, Lacey. She’s not happy with the situation until she befriends a girl named Jackie. The three girls stumble upon the ruthless murder of a reclusive neighborhood woman. One of the officers investigating the crime believes the girls are responsible for her death. Fearing that this officer will frame them for the murder, the girls organize their own detective squad. They become the Super Spies and start their own fact-finding mission.  The Super Spies can’t understand why anyone would want to murder the “Cat Lady” until they start digging into her past and discover a horrible crime that happened thirty years ago. They uncover a connection between the two crimes and attempt to bring this information to the police, only to be reprimanded for meddling in the inquest. Not only are the girls upset by the admonition, but they also struggle with the fact that their exuberant investigating could provide a legal loophole allowing the killer to go free. To make matters worse, the police don’t even believe them. Frustrated by this turn of events, the Super Spies realize it’s up to them to snare the Cat Lady killer, or die trying…

This book opens in a small town in Michigan where Sarah and her sister Lacey are now living with their Aunt and Uncle. Still reeling from the fact her parents have disappeared, Sarah starts the school year with her new friend Jackie Jenkins. When Sarah learns the school has been bombed, she’s filled with dread. Uncle Walt is a teacher, and he was in the school when the bomb exploded. Taking matters into her own hands, Sarah decides to search for him. The rest of the Super Spies are right behind her. When a fireman chases them away from the school, Sarah becomes suspicious. She decides to investigate. The FBI arrives on the scene. Sarah realizes this bombing could have even bigger implications. Searching for the bombers, Sarah is introduced to the world of terrorism. She fears that the bombing and her parents’ disappearance are connected and terrorists are involved. To make matters worse, the bombers are determined to finish the job. Can the Super Spies find the bombers before it’s too late?

Chapter One

“What do you mean you lost them?” Sarah Cole fidgeted as she waited for Agent Gray to answer. I can’t believe it! He lost the only clue to our parents’ location. What is wrong with this picture? Agitated, Sarah shifted in her seat and chewed on her lip. She was uncomfortable in the folding chair and rearranged her petite frame so she wouldn’t feel the cold metal against her bare legs. Shivering, she glanced around the all-too-familiar room.
The gray cement block walls no longer gave her that creepy, closed-in feeling she’d used to get when she first came to the interrogation rooms. She remembered the first time she’d been in that tiny space. It had been the day she’d discovered the Cat Lady’s dead body. Sarah shuddered at the memory and then smiled when she remembered forming the Super Spies and bringing the Cat Lady Killer to justice. Glancing around the room again, she realized she’d been in this room quite a bit these last few weeks, not only during the Cat Lady investigation, but the High School Bomber investigation as well. Shivering again, Sarah rubbed her arms but she really wasn’t cold. Her mind filled with the image of the bomber the Super Spies had helped apprehend just a week earlier.
Wow! Was it just last week?
She tugged at a lock of her honey colored hair, then brushed it away with an impatient hand. She sighed and glanced at her younger sister. Lacey sat beside her with her legs crossed, jiggling her foot at such a rapid rate it seemed like her whole body was electrified. She caught Sarah’s eye and for a moment her eyes glittered like emeralds before she shifted her gaze to Aunt June, who had placed her hand on Lacey’s leg in what appeared to be an attempt to quiet her. Sarah shifted in her chair and sighed again. Are we ever going to find Mom and Dad?
A commotion out in the hall drew everyone’s attention. Sarah leaned forward
and craned her neck to see what was happening.
“Chief, we’ve got an OD!” An officer yelled.
“What?” Chief Johnson yelled as he rushed by. “An OD on what? Give me the details.”
“The parents found their son unconscious in his room this morning, and an empty bottle of prescription medication on his bedside table.”
“What was it?” Chief Johnson asked.
“It’s Myodine.”
“Who makes it?”
“Ah… Piper Drugs.”
“Call Poison Control with the name and manufacturer and ask them what to do about an overdose. Instruct the parents to get their son to the hospital pronto,” Chief Johnson ordered.
“They’ve brought him here.”
“What?” Chief Johnson exclaimed.
The sound of policemen rushing through the hall pulled Sarah and her sister out of their seats. They hurried to the door, unable to stifle their curiosity. Peering down the corridor, Sarah caught a glimpse of a young man sagging between two officers as they desperately tried to keep him on his feet. One officer gently slapped his face while the other officers held him up. The young man blinked and then gagged, puking on the officer in front of him.
The rancid stench of fresh vomit filled the air. While plugging her nose, Sarah ducked back inside the interrogation room, followed by her sister. Sarah closed the door, hoping it would keep the smell from penetrating the room.
“Did you hear that, Lace? Piper Drugs! That’s the company Dad works for,” Sarah whispered in her sister’s ear before proceeding back to her seat.
Lacey opened her mouth to speak, but closed it when Agent Gray cleared his
throat and motioned for them to sit down.
He continued his conversation as if they hadn’t been interrupted. We were on our way to the location of the ping… but before we got there it disappeared.”
“So, what does that mean? Did you find our parents or what?” Sarah blurted out as she sat down. She stared into Agent Gray’s icy blue eyes, trying to read his mind.

Come Back Dear Sun by Geena Bean

Kaylee is concerned about why she hasn't seen the sun in quite awhile.  No one is sure why the sun hasn't been shining.  They only know they are tired of all the darkness and gloom.  Kaylee devises a plan to find out where the sun is and she and her friends plan a camp out to pull off the plan.  Now if only it will work.

A fabulous book about children spending too much time indoors.  A great way to get across to them they need sunshine and fresh air too.  This book will speak to young children in a way they will understand and get the message across easily.  Ms Bean found a fantastic way to make kids listen to the message of play outside.

     I found no issues.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because it's a unique way to stress the importance of being outside.

Not Quite Mine by Catherine Bybee

Katie and Dean had been friends since high school.  Katie always had a crush on Dean but it wasn't until after high school that they began to date. Secretly of course. It wouldn't do for Katie's dad and brother to find out.  They were both privileged   kids, their parents wealth well established, and as such they wanted to keep this to themselves.  No media stories. No friends feeling guilty, if they broke up, about who to invite to their parties.  As suddenly as it began it ended.  Katie then got the reputation of being a wild child. Sleeping around, traveling and parties were on her nightly agenda.  Dean, meanwhile, nursed a broken heart for more than one reason.  Now they've got a second chance, will they take it?

This is a wonderfully crafted story about a wealthy spoiled girl and her sudden need to grow up.  Love the characters and their personalities really shine through.  You'll laugh and you'll sigh as you read this book.  An easy read, Catherine Bybee has done a terrific job of keeping the characters true to the first book in the series.  This is a keeper!!

I found no issues with this one.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because I couldn't put it down.

Jack Morrison is an heir to a luxury hotel empire.  He and his buddies are just back from a bachelor party to end all parties.  Jack has been wondering if he'll ever find a woman who loves him and not his back account. Then Jessie walks into his life.

This book is fantastic!  It's the first in the "Not Quite" series.  I can't wait to read the others.  The characters are well developed and fun to follow. The story one you'll enjoy again and again.  Tender, fun and the fairy tale ending is all you could ever want in a book.  You'll get hooked on this one from page one.

     I found no issues.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because it's such a fantastic read.

Nobody's Child by Lisa PeCai

An abusive and cheating husband lead the woman to seek out an abortion of the child she carried.  The method was crude but ineffective. The baby would be born. From birth the child knew no love or compassion. Her mother beat her and did all she could to send her away or let her die.  The girl became wise early on and stole to eat and stayed out of her mother's path.  By age ten, she was locked away simply because her mother saw something bad in her.  Life for this girl would never be easy but eventually after she moved to America, she learned pride and love.

This candid look at the life of one child who was unwanted, will touch your heart.  There are also parts that will turn your stomach.  Ms PeCai does such a wonderful job of relating this true life story, you'll feel like you are in Romania.  I am constantly amazed at the human suffering we know nothing about until a book like this comes along. Read this one and you'll look at life differently.

     I found no issues.

I gave this one 4 cheers out of 5 because it is just a bit to graphic for me.

If You Were Me And Lived In Mexico by Carole P. Roman

This book is a wonderful look at life in Mexico.  It introduces Spanish and traditions of the Mexican people.  It's the perfect way to introduce other countries and cultures to children. It's simply written and easy to understand.  Many children will be able to read this and understand the traditions from Mexico from other shows.

I love books like this. When my children were little I used books like this to show them people of the world.  We used some of the traditions to make them sink in just a bit more. Carole P. Roman is fantastic at capturing what children love most to read about. Your children will love this book as much as her others.

     I found no issues.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because this is a fantastic teaching tool.

Silent Witness by Rebecca Forster

Things seemed to be going well for Archer and Josie after her big trial. She took Hannah into her home and though Archer wasn't thrilled with it, he was adjusting.  Out of the blue, Archer is arrested for the murder of his step-son. To say Josie is thrown for a loop is an understatement.  She hadn't known about the boy or the death. Now she was trying to defend him and understand the situation.  It's almost too much for Josie to deal with.  Can she defend Archer and remain his lover?

This is a fantastic book.  Rebecca Forster weaves such a wonderful story you get lost from page one.  I found the story well written and plotted out. The characters defined and relate-able.  This is one of the best legal thrillers you'll ever find.  Forster has a way of making you feel as though you are right there with the characters every step of the way. You'll love these books.

      I found no issues.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because it kept my attention until the end.

Day After by Emi Gayle

Winford Thomas' life was about to change in ways he never dreamed possible.  His girlfriend, Mackenzie, is non-human and she's chosen Winn to be her teacher.  Neither of them realizes just what that will encompass when they agree to take the path together.  Before Winn can begin to teach Mac what she needs to know about her kind, he'll have to be approved by the Council of 12.  Seems easy enough, until he meets them.  Mac must choose which form she will take by age 19 and she will begin ruling one of the factions then.  While Winn tries to unravel the mystery that is her kind, they will both learn things about their lives they couldn't have guessed.  Winn has six months to teach Mac all she needs to know.

Superbly written with characters of depth, this book is one YA you'll want to read.  It's fascinating and mysterious.  You'll find yourself just as surprised as the characters as things begin to unfold.  Emi Gayle gives us a wonderful book in Day After.  I recommend this as a stand alone book or as you can see from the cover, it's book two of the 19th year trilogy.  Seldom do you find a series where the books can stand alone and be terrific in their own right.  Get this series. You'll love it.

I found no issues in this one.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because I was swept along at a wonderful pace with this book.
