The Golf-a-Balls by Neil Humber

Oscars family had owned the Comyn for years. It was handed down from his grandfather to his father.  Now, things were tight and his father was going to sell.  Oscar and his cousin Nick tried to think of ways to save the golf course. They found it when they found the GolfaBalls.  These secret weapons would be just the thing to help with the plan Oscar put together.

What a fun book! Many of you would have passed this one by and what a shame that would have been.  The message this book carries is one all children need to learn. Those who read my reviews often know I love a book with a true message for kids.  I enjoyed this one myself.  Cute, fun and very well written, Mr. Humber did a fantastic job on this book. Your children will love Oscar and Nick as well as the GolfaBalls.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because of its unique approach to children.

Camille has found herself a new husband.  A prince.  The only problem is her family is less than conventional. What's a woman to do? Why hire actors to portray her family and servants.  The prince, after all, expects to see a classic English Christmas.  Camille never expects her first love to show up out of the blue. It's been eleven years.  Here he is though. Firebolt by Adrienne Woods

Elena and her father were always on the run. She never knew why, only that she hated it.  Three months here and three months there. She had no friends and life was boring. Then one night her life changes in ways she could never expect.  As they are trying to get away, Elena watches  her father turn into a dragon and then is killed by another dragon.  She can't believe her eyes.  Dragons?  Elena has a whole lot more to learn before she can become the great person she is meant to be.   New friends will help her along the way, but the confidence has to come from within.

An amazing tale of dragons and those who can  claim them.  A mix of shifting, magic and good old fashioned teen love.  Ms Woods made this story an enchanting and engaging one to read.  I love that she mixed in how teen girls deal with daily life as well as all the things Elena must go through  to make the adjustment.  You will find the characters wonderful to read about. They just leap off the page at you.  You can really put yourself in Elena's shoes.  Thank you for such a wonderful read Ms. Woods.

I found no issues with this one.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because it made a dragon lover out of me~!

I was born and raised in South Africa, where I still live with my husband, and two beautiful little girls. I always knew that I was going to be a writer but it only started to happen about four years ago, now I can’t stop writing.

In my free time, If I get any because Moms don’t really have free time, I love to spend time with friends, if it’s a girls night out, or just a movie, I’m a very chilled person.

My writing career is starting with Firebolt, book one with the Dragonian Series, there will be four books in total and two to three books that is about the stories taking place inside The Dragonian Series.

I do write in different Genres, I have a woman’s fiction called the Pregnancy Diaries, but it would be published under another name. And then I have a paranormal series, called the Watercress series. There are about ten novels in that one.

I hope you are going to embrace the Dragonian Series as much as I loved writing them.

Stillwell: A Haunting on Long Island by Michael Phillip Cash

After fifteen years of marriage, Paul's wife was dying. She had cancer and it was slowly taking her away. Paul and his three children put life on hold as they said goodbye to the most important person in their life.  They buried her and began the long journey back to normalcy.  It wasn't easy for any of them. Paul's wife was the center of his family. Being a real estate agent, Paul began to slowly get back to work. The first house on his list to sell was Stillwell.  The house was very old and well known in the area.  It was said to be haunted. Now Paul had to try to find a way to get around those things and sell this house.  While searching the history of Stillwell, Paul finds the history touches his own family. What will he do with that information?

Spine tingling with a great historical touch! This book will grip you and pull you slowly through.  Michael Phillip Cash is terrific at capturing you in the first few pages and keeping you right in the middle of it all until the end.  Well written with characters that are extremely well defined, you'll enjoy this book.  It made me want to go check out this house and see if it's anything like Mr. Cash describes.  It's one to add to your list of books to read.

I found no issues with this one.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because it truly did touch me.

Single by Saturday by Catherine Bybee

Michael Wolfe is one of Hollywood's hottest movie stars.  Gorgeous and such a sweet man, but he's hiding something from everyone.  Karen Jones works for a business that helps in such situations.  She agreed to help Michael keep his secret.  Karen never dreamed she'd meet Michael's family and come to care for them so much.  She really never expected to fall in love with  Michael's brother Zach.  What a mess this was and how were they to straighten it out?  Michael was the key to it all.

Another hit from Catherine Bybee!  Terrific characters and a well developed story line make this a must read.  I love the devotion between Michael and Karen. It is something you rarely see in friends or couples.  I love that the whole family took Karen to heart and made her part of the family. It gives the book the extra dose of love and warmth it needs.  This is a wonderful book to start off the new year with. Get it for your TBR pile!

I found no issues with this one.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because the story line is so original!

This man was gorgeous, and if she were one to believe in instant attraction, her body responded to him with a fierceness she didn’t think possible. Maybe this was what the women gazing at Michael experienced that she did not. This wild thrill of discovery that led to possibilities only the big screen could fulfill.

Instead of letting her imagination get the best of her, Karen flattened a hand over her stomach and attempted to act unaffected. “Do I know you?”

The sex personified blue-eyed man stepped toward her. It took effort for her to hold her ground.

Sensing her unease, he held still, looked around the both of them as if noticing the caterers running about and guests arriving behind him, and said simply, “Zach Gardner.”

The smile on her face stayed. The name tickled at the edges of her consciousness. Memories flashed behind the veil of her mind until she narrowed her focus. “Michael’s brother?” she whispered.

Zach gave a small nod and swept his eyes down her frame. When his eyes met hers again, he masked whatever he’d been thinking, then he smiled and said, “And you’re the wife none of us have met.”  Not a lot shook Karen. She’d managed the role of Michael’s wife under the ever-present scrutiny of paparazzi, producers, actors, and fans . . . but the man standing in front of her did what no one else could. He made her question her decision to marry.

Price of Justice by Alan Breham

Detective Jason Scarsdale lost his wife years before. It was a senseless accident that took her life. I’ve been creating stories my whole life, but only for me, in my own head. Then one day I sat down and started to write a book. I completed my first novel, In Search of Lucy, in February of 2011. Seven months later, AmazonEncore contacted me about representing my book. It’s currently in the top 10 for Kindle Drama.

My second full-length novel, Vigil Annie, was released on Amazon in December of 2012! One reviewer called this thriller “suspenseful, well-crafted, and fast paced.”

I recently completed my first romantic comedy, The Tech Guy, now available on Amazon.

My other works include a mystery series (A Hint of Murder) and a short, sweet romance (Special Delivery).

I was born and raised in Southern California and hold a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a multiple subject teaching credential. I’m a wife and mother of two teenagers.
