Finders Keepers: An Almost Gothic Love Affair by Maggie Tideswell

Lenora was excited about her pending marriage.  She'd met her future husband when she was a young girl and didn't remember him. She wondered what he'd be like. How he looked and what his house was like. After a dangerous trip to her future husband's home and the strange things happening when she arrived, Lenora was unsure she'd stay.

I must say, Ms. Tideswell out did herself on this book. I opened the book and was suddenly catapulted into another time. The pages flew by and the story became more interesting with each page, if that is possible.   Extremely well written with delightful characters who could step from the pages. You are watching for clues and trying to figure out who is the evil one. Your heart will go out to Lenora. After all she's just 18. Sometimes the creepy parts lure you in and then SLAM, someone's shut a door and your heart is in your throat. Keep moving through the book, you will love it when you are finished.  Ms. Tideswell is a master at her craft and this book is proof of that. I read the book in about 2 hours. That should tell you just how good it is. Get this book my friends! You will never regret it. Make Maggie Tideswell and auto buy.

     I found no issues.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because it's truly a splendid book!

Monster Under My Bed: Bath Time Song by Andy Owens

Sally and Fluffy, her cat, don't like anything about bath time. They think getting a bath is boring.  Washing themselves is boring too. Brushing their teeth is boring. Sally tells Monster Maple her Mom and Dad wash her, brush her teeth and a couple other things. Sally also wets the bed because she doesn't use the bathroom before bedtime.  They soon find out, with Maple's help just how fun it can be.

Well written with beautiful illustrations, this book is one your child will enjoy. It takes littles on a journey through bath time. I love how it explains everything so easily. The obstinate Sally finds out how much fun bath time can be. Bath time can be a problem. Some parents are unsure how to handle it. Mr. Owens book will solve the problem for you.  Get this book for the little in your lie! It's a must for children's libraries at home. This will work for boys or girls with minor changes. The idea of a friendly monster showing the way is terrific.

I found only one issue. There isn't a book like this one for boys. Boys will pay better attention if they are learning from a boy and a friendly boy monster.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because it's right on target.

David's Christmas Wish by Lisa Reinicke

All David wanted was a goldfish. He couldn't wait to get the goldfish. His parents get him one but it dies. Just as the fish dies, a blizzard hits the area. His Dad knows he must walk to the Pet Store through the blizzard. Dad makes his way to the Pet Store just as it's closing. Dad explains to the store owner and he Through the blizzard he goes back home.

What a cute story. It's perfect for any little. Written with all ages of littles in mind, you should add this to your child's library.  David is the most adorable character. The littles will engage with the story. Ms. Reinicke did a fantastic job with this one.so wonderful.

     I found no issues.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because it's so wonderful.

Mr. 100% by Lance Morcan

Harley was drinking heavily. What he'd learned the day before really hit him hard. He was sure his life was over. Divorced and now this. He had decided to kill  himself. It would be the right thing to do. It was the only thing to do under the circumstances. Harley just couldn't believe he'd been so gullible.  Then he had an idea. It might just work and it would clear things up. Even the score. What would he do after though

This book is a real switch from most mysteries. Well written, characters you can relate to and  a story that keeps you guessing. The story is fascinating.  It's such a twist, you'll keep it playing in your mind  for days. The tense moments will set your mind wandering to see if you can figure it out. Of course there are some funny moments included in the book. It's a swift read. Check it out for yourself.

I did find an issue. The story slowly builds and you are set to get deep into it and suddenly it's over. It really needs to be longer.

I gave this one 4 cheers out of 5 because of the length. copy of book provided by author and I voluntarily reviewed it.

The Me Too Girl by Lance and James Morcan

Susan's life was better now. She didn't have any big problems right now. She moved to get away from Hector Williams. She had too. He was using her in ways no one would approve of. Hector is a cop, that means he gets away with anything he does. Now Susan wonders if Hector will get away with his newest plan. Has Susan gotten braver? She sure hopes so.

I think this is a fantastic story. As a "Me Too" member, I think we need to have more books like this. Well written and it flows so easily. The characters are relate-able and so easy to enjoy. This book has a powerful message. The strong woman lead is a nice change. I love her being stronger and brave than the first time.  This is one you have to read. Get it for your TBR pile!

I did find issues. Why would the press print her address? Why not go to the police commissioner?  Just a couple of things I didn't understand.

I gave  this one 4 out of 5 stars because of the questions I have.
