Story 62- What's the Time- Time in Sillandia is very different than what we have. Oliver tells us how to tell time there.

This series of books is amazing. They are perfect for the littles in your life. Each one is colorful and will teach a small lesson. Well written and plotted, you can't go wrong with these. The characters are ones your children will enjoy and remember for a long time. The stories are the perfect length for bedtime or even nap time. Check these out and add them to your library.

     I didn't find any issues.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because these are such wonderful books.

Who: a novel of the near future by Karen A. Wyle

What if you could keep your loved ones in your life forever? Would you be interested or unsure? Thea dies unexpectedly and now her husband is hoping to hear from her again. Will they be able to connect? Can things be changed? Time to find out.

This is a concept we may soon be considering. It would be a wonderful way to keep family with you. Well written and characters well developed. I find this book exceptional in it's unique story. It will truly give you pause as you read.

I did find an issues. There seem to be two stories in the beginning. It's a little confusing.

I gave this one 4 cheers out of 5 because of the issue listed.

Sweet Lake: A Novel (Sweet Lake #1) by Christine Nolfi

The Wayfair legacy was set in stone long before Linnie was born. Now she's trying to save that legacy and regain the glory the Inn once knew. When Linnie pictured her life as a kid, she never saw the path she was now on. The question she's facing is can she incorporate her dreams and her future.

This book is a warm, feel-good, easy read. It's well written and the plotting is fantastic. The characters are relate-able and fun. The pacing is very comfortable. I love that Ms. Nolfi included some humor in this book. It just gives you a more realistic view of life in Sweet Lake. You'll have lots of cozy feelings as you work your way through this book.

I did find one minor issue. In chapter one you start out saying it's Autumn. A couple pages later it's summer.

I gave this one 4 cheers out of 5 because it's a terrific read.

Keep Calm and Ask On: A No-Nonsense Guide to Fulfilling Your Dreams by Michael Samuels

People want simplicity in their life. If you are clear about your wants and why you want them, the universe will help you achieve your wants.

I did find issues. Although there is humor throughout the book, there aren't any clear cut steps to follow. This author found a remarkable way to tell people to follow the Bible. It's repetitive and unrealistic.  I can't recommend this one.

I gave this one 1 cheer out of 5 because it isn't worth the price.

When Evil Cries by Eti Elbot

Joao took six hours to be born, by age five, he knew he was unwanted. His mother made it clear Joao was a burden for her to bear. His father traveled and rarely saw Joao.  Neighbors and friends took care of Joao and kept him from his mother's wrath. Sometimes they were successful and other times they weren't.

I applaud the effort of this author but this is not a book I'd recommend.

I did find issues. The pacing of this book is extremely slow. It's very disjointed. The definitions being included throughout the book aren't necessary. This book is full of misery and wandering story lines.  There is not a clear picture of what the author is trying to convey.

I gave this one 2 cheers out of 5 because it needs to be reworked.

Audrey's Promise by Susan Sheehey

Audrey's campaign was in full swing and she's decided to go back to her hometown for awhile. She knew things would be difficult there, but Audrey felt it was time to be part of her family again. The voters called her 'The Peacemaker' and she hoped it worked in her favor when she reached home. To add to her stress, an investigative reported asks to tag along. Audrey didn't want her secret to be told.

Great characters who are fully developed and relate-able give this book a perfect start. You'll be touched by this story and you may need tissues. It really pulls at the heartstrings.  Secrets and small towns go together like PB&J. I could sympathize with Audrey because all of the small towns I've lived in were like this.

I did find issues. Though the basic story is good, it reads very slowly. I feel portions of the book could have been removed or shortened to make it read better.

I give this one 4 cheers out of 5 because of the issues above.

FREEBIE OFFER EXTENDED UNTIL FEB. 6

College student, Taryn Moore, planned to spend spring break with her friends. But everything changes when she learns a grant has fallen through, forcing her to use every penny she saved from her part-time job to pay the tuition balance.

All her plans were ruined until she runs--literally--into her gorgeous professor. During a dinner in his home with his equally beautiful wife, Taryn's elated when they offer their guest house to her for free.

It doesn't take long, however, for Taryn to realize that the sexy couple has other plans for her--things most virgins never even fantasize. Yet, what surprises her the most is the instant sexual attraction she feels toward the couple.

And how much she yearns to be invited into their bed.

Author's Note: This book is over-the-top, insta-lust filled with tons of steamy MFF, MF, and FF scenes. If you're looking for hot and dirty, this is it!
