Counterfeits and Cauldrons: Supernatural Witch Cozy Mystery Book 6 by Raven Snow

Vic has moved to Waresville. While Harper is excited, it still seems kind of quiet in town. Harper knows there must be some thieving or murdering going on, so why wasn't she informed? All it takes is one new neighbor to send Harper where she shouldn't be. It doesn't take long until she thinks she's found out what is happening in town. She could be wrong though.

Harper is always a delight to read about and to post about. She's a modern witch who doesn't conform to anyone's belief of who she should be. I love that about her.  The town's dance competition is coming up. Everyone is excited! Meet new townspeople and reacquaint yourself with the ones you already know. Laughter, silliness and just downright fun, this book will make you smile and shake your head. Ms. Snow does a fantastic job of keeping up with this different town and it's inhabitants. I really like how she's tied this case up with a big ole bow. You never know what you'll get in the next cozy witch mystery. I love the characters who are well defined and the story-lines that are so well developed. Just enough mystery to keep you tuned in and just enough romance to make you sigh every now and again.  I can't imagine anyone not liking these books.  Perfect for that quick read before bed or when you only have time for a short lunch. I highly, highly recommend these books.  I guarantee you'll be telling friends to read them too.

I find one flaw. I wish they were longer. *grin* Sorry Raven, had to say it.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because this one really blew me away at the end.

Murder on the Dance Floor: Supernatural Witch Cozy Mystery (Harper "Foxxy" Beck Series Book 5) by Raven Snow

Harper has been an amateur detective for a little while now.  She's a bit unconventional in the way she approaches mysteries. Harper always gets results though. She's happy with her life and things are going well. Her cousin Conner calls to ask for help. Someone is trying to kill him. The fact their high school reunion was coming up helped Harper have an excuse to attend. Miami might not be ready for Harper to return though.

Humorous and real, you'll be laughing so much while reading this book. The writing is top notch. The plotting is perfect! Characters are well defined and easy to relate to. I love the unconventionality of this book. You never know what will happen next with Harper around. Ms. Snow is a writer who knows how to connect to her readers through her book. She's given a spin to the supernatural and it's a fantastic one. Each of her books leave you with a smile and a warm heart. Her books are short, but they are perfect when you don't have a lot of time to read. You must read more about Harper.

The only issue I found is more of a personal preference. I wish they were longer. *smile*

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because it's the perfect pick-me-up!

Writeyboard Restickable Dry Erase Monthly Scheduling Calendar for Wall, 24x36 by WriteyBoard

I am in love! I was asked to review this restickable dry erase calendar. It's a board busy families can use or put it in your office to keep projects at a glance.

This board is perfect! I use mine to keep track of my children's schedules and my reviews. It's dry erase so I can change it at will. When you first see it, you'll think my goodness it's huge. Once you start using it though, you will wonder how you ever did without it. The restickable part of it is genius. I can move it from my kitchen to my office or anywhere else I want to place it. It comes in an amusing dry erase marker bottle. My children found it fun to play with, even though they are teenagers and one adult. I can't say enough about this board. It really is what every family or office needs.

I found no issues with this one.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5.

Writeyboard Re-Fillable Low Odor Premium Dry Erase Markers Eco-Friendly, 4 Pack by WriteyBoard

These pens are terrific! The refillable part makes them even better. I received these with the board above. I think everyone should be using Writey Board products. They are so easy to use and fit any lifestyle. Since these are refillable, they will last longer than the ordinary pens. You really should get these for your office, your child's teacher, friends and your home. They come in handy for more than just making up a schedule. I find myself reaching for them whenever I need to mark something.

     I found no issues.

I gave these 5 cheers out of 5 because of the refillable part.

Victorian Romance: Once Upon a War (Historical Lady Duke Romance) (Marriage Pregnancy Rogue Romance) by Julia Regan

Anastacia Whisper is a modern young woman. She lives in an era of shocking behavior. Politics discussed, electricity is becoming more common place, and women are doing things to make their parents gasp.  Anastacia owns a bookstore. Yes, it is unheard of in this time, but she is proud of her accomplishment. One book seems to be making everyone uneasy. Parliament even banned it. Anastacia found a way around Parliament and a way to be happy.

This book is really well written. It allows us to peek into a time full of changes. The characters are delightful and so easy to like. I think I could have been like Anastacia in that time period. This is a quick read, but it's very emotionally deep. I love that Ms. Regan discusses several issues prevalent to the time.  Get this one.

I did find issues. In spots it reads a little awkwardly. Some of the wording doesn't fit the time period.

I gave this one 4 cheers out of 5 because of the issues above.

A Perfect Wife (Sami Saxton, #4) by Douglas Wickard

Jeanette is alone and scared. Smitty's gone and her family aren't helping her. She has to think of what is best for her daughter.  Kelly has had enough of Hutch. She isn't sure how to tell him her plans though. Drew's life has suddenly gone down the tubes. It's as though everyone is dealing with major life changes. The question is, who will survive the changes?

This book has an acceptable plot and great characters. It's an okay book. I think those who've read Mr. Wickard's previous work will enjoy this one.

There are issues. First, this is a good book, it starts well, then seems to lose steam. It becomes very routine. Second, it is missing the Wickard pizzazz of his early works. It's as though someone said, hey we need to tie up all the loose ends from the previous books. This is the end result.  Mr. Wickard's previous books were exciting and full of drama. They kept you glued to your seat. This one not so much.

I gave this one 3 cheers out of 5 only because I am a Sami Saxton fan.
