That Girl by H. J. Bellus

The time had come to leave. Things at home were too violent and scary.  With only her best friend and the best friend's father knowing, she slipped away to begin a new life.  She knew she'd have to keep moving and changing her name to stay away from her mother.  It was never easy and she knew it would be hard, however, this is how it had to be.  Would she ever settle in one place?

This book will take your breath away! You've never experienced a love story like this one.  I could put myself in the young girl's shoes and understand why she made the decisions she did.  There comes a time in an abused person's life when they have to stand up and run or take the abuse.  I felt this girl had a good head on her shoulders. After experiencing so much pain, I can't blame her for wanting happiness.  The story is solid and the characters simply amazing.  This is a keeper and one you will read over and over.  Get this one and tell friends to get one too. This subject matter is handled with compassion and caring. You can't ask for more.

I found no issues in this one.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because you'll enjoy this one for years to come.
