Who's inside that hat? by Kameel Vohra

Anika saw a new neighbor moving into the house next door. She's so excited!  She watches to see if they have any children. All she can see is a pointy black hat. She sees a wart on the nose as she looks through the fence. Anika is sure a witch is moving in. Witches aren't real are they?

This is a perfect teaching tool. Diversity, things not appearing to be what they are and other lessons can be found in this book. It's well written, entertaining and just plan fun. Your littles will enjoy the story and the lessons can be lively. You can use this book as a springboard to lessons similar to these when you are away from home. It's perfect.

I found no issues in this one.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because it's a terrific teaching tool.

Just One More (Just Us #2) by Roxanne Riley

Jessie finally hits rock bottom and works to put her life back together. Her brother is very proud of her and offers to let her live with him until she finds a job and her own apartment. Jessie is so appreciative. The only problem is she hasn't had any luck yet finding a job. One of her brother's girlfriends gives her a tip that pans out. To celebrate the new job, her friends take her out to a club.

This is an adult theme and language book. Still it is fun and different and full of love. The writing is great and characters are fun and sweet. I enjoyed this book. I could relate to some of the things Jessie is going through. It's an easy read. You will feel the heat climbing as well.  The book is part of a series but can be read as a stand alone.  I found this unique subject a great one. It works and it's balanced in the story. You can't ask for more. You need to read this one and then spend a romantic evening with your significant other.

I found no issues with this one.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because the story is so good.

Dr. Michael & I (Dr. Michael & I #1) by Victoria Hillday

College student Kimberly Spellman was running errands when she made the decision to leave Economics and take Art. It was her dream and she was going to pursue it. She knew this was right for her. The guy she'd run into three times today wasn't.

You NEED this book! It is amazing. Not just a romance book, this one is THE romance book! It's written in a very real way. It wasn't just a they meant and married kind of thing. They have real issues to discuss. He cares about her more than himself. It's magnificently written. The characters are well defined and so relatable. I found this story believable. I found it romantic, funny, and so wonderful. You will find this page turning book one of the best! You'll be sharing it with friends and family. I've read this one five times now. I never tire of it. You won't either. I will eventually have the whole set. GET THIS ONE!!

   I didn't find any issues.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because it blew me away with its realism. GET THIS BOOK!

Snow and the Seven Men by Nicole Casey

Sasha Snow worked as a scientist for Mirror, Mirror laboratory.  She was sent to Iceland to do some research. It wouldn't have been quite so bad if her rival hadn't been sent with her. Sasha was determined to do her best for the company and send back the information they were looking for.  The seven men she worked with with another thing entirely.

This is not your child's Snow White story. This one will contain adult themes and explicit language. The base story is fantastic! It makes you stop and wonder about the work they are doing in the story. It is possible. Add to this story the adult side and you've got a very good book. Well written and with characters we can all relate to. This is a book for a couple to share on a cool night to heat things up.  Truly a good read you will enjoy

I found only on issue, the action all happened in one place. It needs to be spread out a bit more.

I gave this one 4 cheers out of 5 because of the issue above.

Sleeping with Beauty by Nicole Casey

Bonita is allergic to the sun. It meant she could only be outside during the night. To keep herself busy, Bonita filmed her brother's seven friends and the next door neighbor. Everyone thought they were great films. It gave Bonita an idea. She wanted to film a movie with Sasha Snow. Her parents thought she was crazy.

This is not your child's Sleeping Beauty. This one has adult themes and explicit language. That being said, this story is the base for a terrific story. The writing is superb and the characters are well defined. I love that the author used an illness we don't know much about in this story. It gives it an interesting twist.  The logistics alone are difficult. Bonita must avoid the sun. She gets mail from Sasha Snow to work on her project. This book includes new love and a new couple. The other issues the author puts in the story help to make it a good one.

     I found no issues.

I gave this one 4 cheers out of 5 because it needed a bit more buildup before the unveiling of the climax of the story.

Her Blind Master (Blind Series #1) by Lucian Bane

Violet barely listened to the stories about her new client. She knew she needed this job. Certain she could help the man, Violet couldn't wait to get started. When they meet, she knows instantly this is going to be an unusual house to live in.  Sylas is a difficult man. He doesn't know Violet though.

This is an interesting book. It's not going to be like anything you've read before. It's well written and the characters are complex. I enjoyed the way the author takes you through the house but doesn't take you through the house. You do learn about Sylas but only a small part of his life. There is give and take between Violet and Sylas but not much. Neither wants to give in. I really think you will enjoy this one. The adult themes and explicit language just add to the fire the author has already begun.

     I found no issues.

I gave this one 4 cheers out of 5 because it should have explained the ending better.

A Dom and His Gentleman (Club Whisper #4) by Xenia Melzer

Andrew had just moved to Miami. His bakery was up and running without any problems, now he needed to find a club. His first venture into a club went wrong. He found a new friend but nothing more. Andrew wondered if he would ever find a place to hang out and a sub.  Meanwhile, his bakery is gaining quite a reputation as the best bakery in Miami. Andrew never dreamed he find his perfect mate inside his bakery.

Yes, this is an adult book. Adult themes and explicit language is used.  Having said that, let me tell you, this book is amazing. It's romance, the story underneath the story is well worth the read. The characters are so well defined you'll believe you know these men. The writing is very well done. It's easy to get lost in this story. This book allows readers to see how a healthy relationship can be. This one needs to be in your TBR pile. Step out of your comfort zone and you'll be glad you did.

     I found no issues.

I gave this one 4 cheers out of 4 because it needs to be longer.

The Lip Reader by Michael Thal

In Zhila's country a disability was a curse. Families hid the disabilities as much as they could. She tries to convince her parents to get her hearing aids, but they are much to expensive. Zhila has been lip reading for a very long time. She's been able to fool most people. Living in Iran, with a disability and coming from a Jewish family put her at even more risk.

This book will touch your heart and bring tears. It's well written and discusses the good, bad and the ugly. It's the complete story where you will feel all the feels.  It's based on a true story.  This author added more than a little of himself to this one. I love this book. I've read it four times and each time I am moved to tears. This is one of the very best books of this year  ...  and last year.  You can't go wrong with this one or the author.

   I found no issues.

I gave this one 5cheers out of 5 because it has all the feels.

WE FOUND THEM!!!

We've found all the lost books. Still don't know why my KOBO decided to clean itself. I have been reading and will be posting reviews tomorrow. I am so sorry for any trouble this may have caused. Taught me not to trust one medium for my books to review.

Thank you for your patience.
