********ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS AND AUTHORS*********

 Dear Friends,

After much thought and consideration, I have reached a painful but necessary decision.  I have accepted all of the books for review I will ever accept. It will take time to finish these books and review them, but I will. When I'm finished, I will be leaving Twitter and my blog.  I find, due to circumstances, I am unable to continue with the work I love so much. I know I've mentioned before I was considering it, this time, I am not considering, I am stating irrevocably.

I appreciate all the support, caring and friends I've had while on this venture.  It means more than words can express.  I wish you all continued success and happiness with your life and writing. This started as a project to see if I could do the work and now, I'm overwhelmed by how much work I've completed.

I find I am unable to keep up the pace I set for myself. Yes, I know I can slow down the pace, but even that seems to be too much for me. No one is more disappointed in me than ME!  I send love, kisses, and tons of hugs to you all.

 Forever your friend and reader!

  1. The prophet EliYah burned out, so I guess you can too, friend. But to tell you the truth, you've accomplished more in this sprint than most do in a lifetime. Kind of amazing.

Your review of "Blue Water Dead" was so compelling that I bought the Kindle edition. Wow, that thing is intense, right off the bat! Thanks for the reco! As I scroll through this page-turner, I'm thinking, "If I try harder, I bet I can write like that."

    Thanks to you, sweetheart!

Well, I don't know how you prioritize this head high stack of stuff looking back at you, but I can guarantee some belly-laughs if you ever play Gotcha Gas.

Your whole game is an inspiration to me, girl.

    Love and blessings,
    Michael

    1. Oh Michael honey I'm not burnt out! I'm in so much pain, concentration is horrible. Thank you for your kind words! I'm glad my reviews did some good. I will be getting to Gotcha Gas! I'm anxious to read it. I've fallen so far behind it's awful. HUGS! Friends know they can always email me.
      Love and blessings,
      Melanie

  2. I am so sorry to hear that you have to make this sad step, to give up something you love so much. I thank you for your reviews of two of my ebooks, and I have enjoyed reading so many other reviews you have posted. You are a rare person to reach out and help others so selflessly. I truly hope that after a break you will be back, maybe not so deeply involved but just a review now and then on Amazon or Goodreads.
Best wishes in all your future endeavors,
    Audrey Holland

    1. Thank you Audrey! I just realized I'd bitten off more than I could chew at present. I may do the minor stuff like review for Amazon and Goodreads. You are a very dear friend.

  3. Don't you DARE be disappointed in yourself. I haven't known you for very long, and I guess I don't really know you at all but, from the little contact we've had, your integrity, sense of humour, energy and sheer beauty of spirit have shone through.

No one can do more than their best and it takes a strong person to realise when they've reached their limit.

I am beyond grateful for the blessing of having known you. Just seeing your name makes me smile. I am beyond blessed for the wonderful things you said about my work and I'm sure you've made many other authors as happy and grateful as I am.

I can only wish you the very best for the future and hope you move on to better, and less stressful things.

    Blessings friend

    1. {{{{{{{BIG HUGS}}}}}} Nephy my dear, it's not the amount of time you know someone. It's how well you connect, mind to mind and heart to heart. We are sisters, girlfriends and gabby friends. *grin* My concentration has abandoned me lately and the pain overrides many days. I am thrilled you are grateful. I do what I do to help my author friends and those just becoming authors. I love spreading the word about wonderful books like yours. It gives me immense pleasure. Less stressful? LOL! Then it wouldn't be my life. Nothing can be stress free. I will settle for less pain, and more concentration. Thank you my dear friend.

  4. Hi Melanie,
I just stopped by to say I haven't forgotten about the wonderful One Lovely Blog Award you generously bestowed upon me in July. I am planning to follow the rules and post in October.

How sad to hear you are in so much pain. You are now on my prayer list (and I never remove anyone!)

  5. Melanie, lovely lady, you owe nothing to anybody except yourself. If you want to knock off, well you've already done a ton more than most of us to support the Indy community. I'm so glad to've known you even if it was just online and through twitter. But true spirit is not bound by time, space or media. You are a true spirit, too, and I'll always treasure our connection.

    Your gary
